To me, beauty elevates the ordinary, it is uplifting in ways I often cannot even put into words - it's a feeling

   Athena Calderone

What sparked the idea for All Things Beautiful was a passion for celebrating paired with love for architecture, art and design. I believe the spaces we are in, as well as the beauty we are surrounded by, have the power to affect how we feel and experience things.

ATB AESTHETIC

LESS, BUT BETTER

EFFORTLESSLY SOPHISTICATED RELAXED LUXURY

To me, beauty is found in the simplicity and harmony of the elements put together in an intentional and, at times, unexpected way.

ATB's aesthetic is all about impeccable design, clean lines, and quiet, relaxed luxury. Luxury that's shown in quality materials, unique concept, and fine craftsmanship.

ARCHITECTURE PLAYS A CRITICAL ROLE IN MY DESIGN PROCESS,

I ALWAYS IMAGINE THE CELEBRATION IN THE CONTEXT OF THE SPACE IT IS TO HAPPEN.

ABOUT MAGDALENA

HI THERE!

I THOUGHT I COULD TELL YOU A LITTLE MORE ABOUT HOW I GOT HERE BECAUSE MINE WAS NOT YOUR TYPICAL JOURNEY WHERE ONE JUST LOVES EVERYTHING ABOUT WEDDINGS OR GETS THE CAREER IDEA AFTER PLANNING THEIR OWN. SO HERE'S MY STORY...

After I didn't get into the Acting Academy (yes, yours truly wanted to be an actress - I'm laughing as I write this) I studied social animation and literature in Poland, followed by Fashion Visual Merchandising in Italy.

Like many people in their early 20s, I had no idea what I wanted to do professionally, so when the opportunity presented itself to work with a furnishing company in a different country, I gladly ceased it.

WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A 3-WEEK TRAINING IN HUNGARY TURNED INTO ALMOST TWO YEARS OF LIVING IN BUDAPEST AND BECOMING A COMMERCIAL INTERIOR DESIGN PRO, FURNISHING  SOME OF THE MOST RENOWNED HOTELS LIKE HILTON AND MARRIOTT, AS WELL AS MULTIPLE RESTAURANTS AND CAFES AROUND EUROPE.

After almost two years, I felt I needed a change. Little did I know, changing the job meant changing not only where I lived but also how my life would look. After leaving my interior design job and taking the position of sales director at an international media agency in Madrid...

I LIVED IN 10 COUNTRIES! FROM SOUTHEAST ASIA, THROUGH EUROPE AND THE MIDDLE EAST TO THE CARIBBEAN AND SOUTH AMERICA

(with Malaysia, Greece and Peru being my all-time favorites that will forever feel like home).

During the summer of 2019, living on the stunning island of Aruba, I found myself thinking of the next step in my career life. It was just one of those lightbulb moments when an idea came to my head and all the pieces fell into place.

All of my prior experience - design school in Milan, interior design job in Hungary, extensive travels, and love for planning & throwing fabulous parties - it all came together.

And that's how the idea of All Things Beautiful was born.

THREE RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

  • I'm terrified of frogs and snails, even pictures of them send shivers down my spine

  •   Back in 2011, I dubbed a character in an animated black comedy film "George the Hedgehog"

  • If I were to pick one music genre to listen to forever, it would be classical, but my Spotify really is a mix of everything from Mozart, Rameau, and Preisner to The Weeknd, Labrinth, and Billie Eilish
