All Things Beautiful

Inspired by the city of lights, this shoot proves that some of the most breathtaking wedding backdrops can be found in the most unexpected locations.
With this editorial, I wanted to tell a story of a cosmopolitan couple conquering getting married during the pandemic. Like many couples, these two had everything planned and ready for their dream destination wedding in Paris when the travel restrictions hit and forced them to change their plans.Instead of waiting for things to go back to normal, they decided to elope.
For their intimate ceremony, they chose the beautiful Marshal Rydz Park in the heart of Warsaw, Poland - a beautiful city, that used to be called the Paris of the north.
I wanted to recreate an effortlessly chic atmosphere a celebration in Paris would have. The French capital, known for its sophisticated, avant-garde style, has inspired me to redefine the fine-art aesthetic by adding a contemporary touch to it. I decided to take the motif of the arches on the facade and use it in the various elements of the styling. The warm earthy color palette features hints of gold in just the right amount to add a quiet luxury feel.
All of the beautiful photos were taken by Nat Kontraktewicz, the photographer known for her moody style and unique way of capturing emotions. Nat, being no stranger to working around the world, knew exactly how to navigate the space to bring its Parisian charm forward.
With the ceremony area, I wanted to bring the element of drama to the clean, classic lines of the facade by placing a massive suspended arrangement across one of the arches. Karolina, the florist (Cuda Kwiatki) has created a beautiful installation featuring a mix of dry and fresh flowers, proving that opting for more sustainable choices doesn't have to take away from the artistry and wow-factor.
To balance the classic character of the Parisian-esque location, the concept features modern outdoor furniture that brings to memory chic bistros in Paris' 4th district of Le Marais. The Camibero paper goods, as well as the cake made by Niebieskie Migdały, feature the motif of the arch, with a subtle touch of gold for some extra pizzaz.
The bride wore a gorgeous dress from Rina Cossack, Ewa Wiśniewska jewelry and silk gold shoes from Burberry. To add a contemporary spin on a classic bridal look, Magda Kujawska the MUA, used gold flakes on the bride's eyes. The groom look adds a little more relaxed feel with a chic black suit from Giacomo Conti paired with an undone white shirt.
This shoot is dedicated to all the modern romantics, looking for a well-balanced mix of classic and contemporary.
